Annual Presidents' Day Parade Set for Monday, February 17 in Indio
The highly anticipated Presidents' Day Parade will take place on Monday, February 17, with step-off at 9:00 AM from Miles Park at the intersection of Miles Avenue and Deglet Noor Street in Indio.
This year’s parade will feature a slightly altered route due to ongoing construction on Oasis Street. The parade will proceed east on Miles Avenue, south on Towne Street, and east on Highway 111, with the judges’ station located in front of the Riverside County Fairgrounds. The best viewing location will be along Highway 111, where spectators can enjoy all the action as the parade makes its way through town.
The Presidents' Day Parade will showcase a wide variety of participants, including equestrian entries, cheerleaders, dance groups, and marching bands, among other community organizations. The parade promises to be a lively and colorful display of local talent, community spirit, and patriotism.
The Presidents' Day Parade is proudly sponsored by County of Riverside, Riverside County Facilities Management and the City of Indio. Applications for participation are now being accepted online, and groups, organizations, and individuals interested in being part of the parade can apply at HERE.
