Friday, February 16th at 7:30 p.m.

WAR brought the house down at the 2017 Date Festival so they are back to deliver another crowd moving performance on Friday, February 16th at 7:30 p.m. in the Fantasy Springs Concert Pavilion.

During an anti-Vietnam America, WAR’s mission was “to spread a message of brotherhood and harmony.” Their instruments and voices became their weapons of choice as they spoke out against racism, hunger, gangs, crimes and turf wars. WAR climbed the charts with hits such as, “Low Rider,” “Don’t Let No One Get You Down,” “Why Can’t We Be Friends?,” “The Cisco Kid” and “Slippin’ Into Darkness.” Original band members included: Lonnie Jordan (singer/keyboardist), Harold Brown (drums/vocals), the late Thomas “Papa Dee Allen (congas/timbales) and Charles Miller (saxophonist/flutist).

Chase Rice

Saturday, February 17 at 7:30 p.m.

Platinum-selling country star Chase Rice will be performing at the Fair on Saturday, February 17th at 7:30 p.m. Rice released his highly anticipated sophomore album, Lambs & Lions, November 17th!

His first single from Lambs & Lions, “Three Chords & The Truth,” is currently Top 40 and climbing the country charts and available at digital retailers now. Rice’s debut album Ignite the Night debuted at No. 1 on Billboard’s Top Country Albums and No. 3 on the all-genre chart, and produced a pair of Top 5 hits, the Platinum-certified "Ready Set Roll" and “Gonna Wanna Tonight.” The past few years have been monumental ones for Rice with a world-wide tour including opening runs for country megastars like Kenny Chesney and Dierks Bentley, and is currently on the road headlining his 2017 Lambs & Lions Tour.

Los Rieleros del Norte

Sunday, February 18th at 7:30 p.m.

The band formed in Ojinaga, Chihuahua in 1984 and later moved to Texas. Los Rieleros del Norte are one of the oldest norteño bands performing today. Los Rieleros del Norte have recorded many albums over the years and include: Estampida Norteña, Prieta Orgullos and Aventura Pasada. Among their many songs, “El Columpio”, “Te Quiero Mucho”, “Amor Prohibido”, “No le Digas a Nadie” and “Copa Sin Vino” are just some of their many singles, which have been at the top of the Mexican music Billboards.

Lou Gramm, founding member of Foreigner, with Foghat

Saturday, February 24th at 7:00 p.m.

Lou Gramm was born in Rochester, NY, and began his musical career in is mid-teens, playing in local bands. Gramm became one of the most successful rock vocalists of the late 1970s and 1980s with Foreigner. Foreigner had hit songs to include “Feels Like the First Time”, “Cold as Ice” and “Hot Blooded”. His unique vocals have made Foreigner one of Billboard’s Top 100 Artists of All Time in hit songs history.

Foghat is truly a timeless band with hits like “Slow Ride”, “Fool for the City” and “Third Time Lucky”. Formed in 1971, Foghat has earned eight Gold records, one Platinum record and one Double-Platinum record. They continue to release new music every few years and still continue to tour. With a thunderous blend of blues, boogie and rock ’n’ roll there is no way Foghat will disappoint!

Los Tequileros de Ramon Jimenez, Banda Pachuco and Carmen Jara

Sunday, February 25th at 3:00 p.m.

On the last day of the Fair, Super Fiesta will pack the house with excitement. Performing in the Fantasy Springs Concert Pavilion at 3pm is Los Tequileros de Ramon Jimenez, Banda Pachuco and Carmen Jara.
