Not counting the numerous greatest-hits compilations in their catalog, Los Dareyes' albums include El Águila Real (2005), Cigarro de Hoja (2005), Como Tú los Querías Oír en Vivo (2005), La Dueña de Mi Vida (2005), Directo (2006), En la Mira (2007), and Con Banda (2008). Their most popular songs include "Quisiera Ser una Lagrima," "El Jabalí," "El Águila Real" (from El Águila Real); "El Novillo Despuntado," "El Fin de Nuestro Amor," "El Perdedor" (from Cigarro de Hoja); "Dueña de Mi Vida," "La Más Bonita de Todos," "Arrincónamela" (from La Dueña de Mi Vida); "Tu Perfume," "Vida Mafiosa," "El Valiente" (from Directo); and "Hasta el Día de Hoy" (from Con Banda).

Sonora Santanera is an orchestra playing tropical music from Mexico with over 60 years of history. The band was founded in 1955 by Carlos Colorado of the state of Tabasco. The band currently has twelve members: Antonio Mendez (trumpet), Francisco Mendez (trompet), Sandro Celado (percussion), Arutro Ortiz Martinez (percussion), Ruben Nava (trompet), Tomas Cruz (vocals), Alfredo Pino Cruz (trumpet), Simon Hernandez (vocals), Alfredo Hernandez Mejia (bass) and Jose Antonio Torres (piano). The band performs styles such as mambo, cha-cha-cha, bolero, cumbia and meringue. The band says that some of its success is due to the fact that the music is “commercial, easy to internalize and understandable.” During their career, they have received numerous awards and recognitions as well as gold and silver records.
